Yashwant Memorial Trust has been functioning in academic and social activities since last 19 years in Panvel.
Initially, the Trust’s activities were confined to conduct Career Seminars like “What After SSC / HSC?”, “Basic English Programme”, providing books, note books and uniforms to needy students etc. In November 2007, the Trust applied for Study Centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik, the University established by Govt. of Maharashtra.
From August 2008, the Trust started Study Centre of YCMOU for MBA Course. Thereafter, in 2009, 2010 and February 2012, the Trust got sanctions from YCMOU to start Study Centre for M.Com. BCA B.Sc. (BIS) Preparatory Course and BA B.Com. Computer Diplomas (Software & Hardware Networking).
Considering the importance of Vocational Education in coming future, the Trust has started Junior College of Vocational Education recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra (Index No. J-17.01.902) for Computer Techniques and Accounting & Auditing educational programs.
To promote Entrepreneurship Development among the youths, the Trust has started providing Vocational Education under the banner of YMT Technical Institute affiliated with Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development MCED, Department of Industries, Govt. of Maharashtra.
We are happy to say that since 1999, we have reached towards thousands of students from rural and urban areas and supported them in developing their careers.

Yashwant Memorial Trust is affiliated to Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik (Study Centre Code – 3258A).
The University is the recipient of the International Award for Institutional Excellence from Commonwealth of Learning, Canada.The courses offered by YCMOU are recognised by UGC and DEC.
The Degree / Diploma awarded by YCMOU is recognized all over India and abroad for job, higher education and competitive exams like MPSC / UPSC
Skill Training
To encourage youth for Entrepreneurship, we have started Recognised Centre of MCED. Yashwant Memorial Trust’s YMT Technical Institute is affiliated to Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED), Department of Industries, Govt of Maharashtra.After successful completion of Training Programme, candidates get Certificate from MCED and DIC and they can apply for Mudra Loan and PMEGP as per their project.
YMT CARE
YMT CARE is committed to provide education and healthcare to underprivileged children. YMT believes that education is a sure solution on poverty, inequality and unemployment. Education not only empowers a person to earn his / her bread and butter but also provides him / her a better standard of living.
YMT CARE initiates education and healthcare activities for underprivileged children which includes educational help in the form of providing books, note books, uniforms, fees, health check-up, medicines, hospitalization etc.
